About the Office
Designed by the Pride Institute Novato, California, Henry Boykin AIA and Kenneth Carson DDS, with help from other dentists, especially Dr. Roy Strickland. Builder, Harvey Branham - 1985. The design and the materials used were selected with patient comfort in mind. The building exterior was constructed of cypress to blend with the surroundings and the cypress is carried into the interior to enhance the relaxed feel of wood. The trees on the lot were preserved and trees in the building footprint were moved and replanted on other sites on the lot. The native cherry laurel was pruned and remains as low maintenance landscaping. Each of the treatment rooms has large windows looking onto a courtyard. This gives the patient and the dental team a sense of space and relaxation. Various birds and squirrels visit often.
Equipment is constantly being upgraded and Dr. Carson and his team attend continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest materials and techniques. Our mission as a team is to provide exemplary care for our patients in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere, with the goal of preserving their oral structures in health and function for a lifetime, We promise to treat everyone with honesty and respect and provide for each person's needs in a caring and supportive manner. We will strive for uncompromising excellence in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic care in a setting of cleanliness and sterility.
